3.5Mm Trs Female Jack Socket To Trrs Male Jack Microphone Adapter For Smartphones & Tablets
$0.00 – $5.95
Welcome to Micronic’s best selling 3.5-TRRS microphone adapter for connecting different microphones to mobile devices, smartphones and tablets.
The 3.5-TRRS adapter converts 3.5mm (1/8″) TS/TRS jack plug microphones to 3.5mm TRRS (4 pin – Tip,Ring,Ring,Sleeve) for connecting to headset inputs.
Modern devices have a 3.5mm TRRS jack plug input/output 4 pin connection socket to operate headphones and microphone. All external microphones have a different connector and will not work with 3.5mm TRRS headset socket. Microphones are wired to 3.5mm Mono TS (2 pin – Tip,Sleeve) or 3.5mm Stereo TRS (3 pin – Tip,Ring,Sleeve). All 3.5mm Mono and Stereo microphones are not TRRS compatible and require this adapter to work.
Why is the 3.5-TRRS the best selling adapter? It incorporates passive components to provide DC bias and impedance between the microphone and input. This is for input level protection and impedance balance making it possible to use with most type microphones. This adapter will work with both Mono and Stereo microphones that have a 3.5mm TS and TRS 3.5mm jack plug connector. (read below regarding stereo microphones with TRRS)
Types of microphones that work with this adapter:
ECM microphones (without batteries)
Lavaliere / Lavalier microphones (without batteries)

Headset Microphones (without batteries)
Dynamicmicrophones (handheld andheadword)
Battery Powered Video / Condenser microphones (shotgun / windsocks etc)
Battery Powered Lavaliere Microphones
Wireless Microphone systems

How it Works:Plug the adapter into the iPhone (or other device) headset jack and then plug your microphone into the adapter. The iPhone will recognize that an external mic is connected and turn its internal mic off allowing you to record using the external microphone. This adapter works with all audio/video recording apps and other functions just as the internal mic would. It is possible to use a professional video camera microphone or simply use your clip on lapel microphone for interviewing orsimilar use.
